One day people in Europe face the problem of sudden electricity shortage. Professional services call this situation: blackout. IT specialist Piero Manzano, a former hacker and participant of anarchist demonstration, notes an error on the electric meter in his apartment. He begins to suspect that the current situation could be the result of a mysterious plan. He tries to inform the relevant institutions, but no one treats him seriously. However, his perseverance and belief that he may be right does not allow him to surrender.
Providers and network operators, unable to find the cause of the failure, unsuccessfully try to repair the system while workers in the crisis centers work at maximum speed. Meanwhile the chaos deepens and the threat of nuclear explosions becomes real.
Will Manzano manage to reveal the secret of the electricity shortage before the remnants of the energy provided by the emergency power systems run out? Will Europe plunge in the darkness for ever?
