Un incubo traumatizzante cambierà la vita di Yeong-Hye. Il suo comportamento cambia a causa di un disagio esistenziale: smetterà di mangiare carne, diventerà introversa e si isolerà dal mondo. Dopo l'estremo gesto di provare a togliersi la vita la famiglia la internerà in un ospedale psichiatrico, dove la donna capirà che il suo disagio non proviene solo dal mangiare carne, ma nell'essere carne lei stessa. Quando poi uscirà dall'ospedale sarà la figura del cognato, un artista, a farle capire meglio se stessa. Registreranno assieme dei video in cui lui dipingerà dei fiori sul corpo di lei, che amplificherà ancora di più la sua sensazione di non essere più un animale, ma di appartenere al mondo vegetale.

A traumatizing nightmare will change the life of Yeong-Hye. Her way of living changes due to an existential discomfort: she will stop eating meat, she will become introvert and she will isolate herself from the world. After the extreme act of trying to kill herself her family will intern her in a psychiatric hospital, where she will understand that her discomfort doesn't come only from the fact of eating meat, but from being an animal herself. Then when she won't be in the hospital anymore her brother in law, an artist, will help her to understand her mind even more. They will record some videos together where he will paint flowers on her body, that will amplify the sensation in her of not being an animal anymore, but being part of the plant world.
